removeMedia

Clear the media index on Android, undoing addMedia.

Partial support in Astra Scout

Android only. The step is not available on iOS.

The removeMedia command clears the device's media index (MediaStore), so images and videos added with addMedia no longer show up in the gallery or the media picker. It runs pm clear on the Android media provider packages.

Syntax

- removeMedia

The command takes no arguments.

Usage example

Start a flow with a clean gallery, then add one image:

- removeMedia
- addMedia:
    - ./photos/avatar.png

It clears the whole media index

The command resets the media provider for the whole device, not only the files that a flow added.
